Here’s what actors said about previous years' events:

I participated in the audition event on Sunday as an actor/singer, and I want to COMMEND you as well as ALL the TRU folks who assisted for the marvelous job you guys did! You were well organized, professional, considerate, and helpful at all times. I was very impressed and enjoyed myself immensely. (Had a ball doing my audition too.) As performers we have all experienced unkind and unfair treatment (at times) in this business of ours. So it is very affirming to be treated with the dignity and respect that is our due! Anyway - just wanted to say thanks AGAIN. You have made me a "TRU believer". ~Kelly Taylor, '09

Thank you very much for offering this event. It was well organized and the staff was focused and pleasant. Furthermore, I have an appointment with agent Ginger Dicce tomorrow. I would definitely recommend this event to my colleagues next year and hope to audition again. ~Paul Lange, '09

I had a wonderful experience! It was so professional and well-run and really great exposure. ~Naomi Macdougall Jones , '09

The TRU Audition Event was a great experience not just to me but also to many actors that I've been in touch with that had participated in the event. Personally I've one staged reading call and an invitation to audition for a play by Orielle Creative Company. That's great for a start and I'm excited by the opportunities offered through the event and look forward to more. I'd like to add that I was very impressed by the efficiency of the whole undertaking and had a great time. I look forward to other events hosted by Theatre Resource Unlimited in the future. ~Ritu Pande, '09

The event was great. Thank you for the opportunity you've provided for me, I've already received two auditions from that afternoon. ~Yury Lomakin, '09

From start to finish, it was a great experience! Wow! ~JF Garcia, '09

I enjoyed the audition. It was run really well. Very organized and actor friendly! ~Sarah Jane Marek, '09

Thank you for this great opportunity! I had a blast auditioning and, so far, have gotten two callbacks… I truly appreciate your effort in bringing so many resources and networking opportunities to actors. ~ Zak Kostro, '08

Thanks for another great audition experience. The event ran so smoothly. I appreciate all the hard work you have put into it. I've gotten many callbacks and am looking forward to working on new projects. ~
Jessica Lea Bailey, '08

I just wanted to thank you for an incredible job done incredibly well. In my straight working life, I ran special events for non-profit organizations... and I am well aware of the organization skill, concentration, dedication, fortitude and sense of the big picture (as well as of humor) it takes to make something like this event go as smoothly as it did. This is very hard work, and your team did it extraordinarily well. ~Kate Adams-Greenberg, '08

The TRU audition event is one of the best ways to get your foot in the door of the New York acting scene. ~Christopher Heffron, ‘07

TRU is a classy and amazing group to belong to! Their audition day was run with the utmost professionalism. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to get his/her work seen! ~
Katie Yamulla, ‘07

The 2007 event was truly an amazing experience: quite empowering and one which provided various work opportunities/contacts. The way the event was organized and handled was stellar. The only reason why I cannot attend the 2008 event is because I’ll be working on a Broadway show. ~
Tony Chiroldes, ‘07

The TRU staff was so great, running a punctual, but very professional audition. ~
Linda Evans, ‘07

To be seen by a crowd of auditors for the same price I pay to be seen by one at other venues is very appealing and very cost effective. ~
Michael Fawcett, ‘06

This by far was one of the best audition opportunities. To be able to do your stuff and have that many people see you in one shot is something that actors desperately need. So, I thank you. And I could not believe how affordable you made it for all of us! Truly wonderful, with wonderful people as well. Thanks, it was a delight.
~ Rachel Axelrod, '05

Everyone on your staff was fantastically supportive and made the process enjoyable. TRU is just an amazing, amazing organization... one that I have found immense opportunities through, in addition to finding a sense of unity among all of us struggling artists out there. Bravo!
~ Patricia Runcie, '05

I'm an actress who is new to the New York area. I sincerely thank you for giving me (and so many others) the opportunity to get in front of so many casting people. For someone in my position this was an excellent way to get myself out there. THANK YOU! ~
