UPDATE

Surprise! We got out a Thanksgiving issue after all!
(The early Thanksgiving issue was so popular,
we're serving up seconds.)

The TRU Actors Update 11/22

May you be blessed with an abundance of opportunities

Brought to you by our listings editor Liz Burke,
and our associate editors Tiara Yong and Rebecca Nesvet.

Thoughts for November:

Not so much a thought as a note - at a reader's request, we will be highlighting notices for males in blue and females in magenta. Let us know if this is more convenient or helpful.

A) The "union" or "non-union" designation is at the start of the notices; and union is highlighted in red.

B) The items with immediate deadlines are highlighted in green (for go!). Male actor notices are highlighted in blue, female actress notices ar highlighted in magenta.

C) Doesn't anybody have some nice inspirational quotes to share? Geez, ya never phone, ya never write. I might as well be your mother.

D) Peruse the last update's notices... see what you missed.

E) Have you sized up the TRU Bi-Monthly Update? It has a few casting notices not listed here, as well as other job opportunities, workshops and discounted shows. Click here or go to www.truonline.org/Update-1119.htm

DEAR TRU

Hey - can anyone out there explain to your editors why we keep getting listings for AEA Showcases that say they are looking for non-union people? Do you think people are sloppy in the way they list things? I can't think of any reason why an AEA showcase would be prohibited from casting a union actor. What's up with that? ~Bob
