The
Rewards and Challenges
of
Producing Outside of Manhattan.
Are
escalating rental costs in Manhattan driving
companies to the outer boroughs and beyond? Find
out what's happening out there, and meet some
producers who are happy in their non-mainstream
spaces and/or offices. An extension of our
eye-opening May meeting, this panel will also
look at the relative value of developing
audiences within your own community versus
reaching out to the traditional Manhattan
theater-going audience.

How do you gauge your success? It doesn't have to be
measured in millions. And it doesn't have to be
commercial. Sometimes it's a question of setting
realistic goals and fulfilling them. Meet some companies
who have found artistic satisfaction on smaller scales,
and fulfilled their missions year after year. Ask them
how they've done it!
